To confirm the current plan to close the hall at the end of July 2026 was for refurbishment as already communicated, and this is still the case, the hall will remain open until that time.
However the trustees have decided that the best course of action to achieve this now is to sell the hall after all, due to affordability issues.
It will be sold with vacant possession and offers are being sought to include a proposal to meet the community use requirement for the continued use of the building as a “Village Hall” with refurbishment being carried out by the purchaser.
