Welcome to the Newby and Scalby Community Hall Trust
The hall is available at very competitive rates for a wide variety of activities, groups, social and charitable functions, including children’s’ birthday parties.
The floor is ideal for dance, theatre, fashion shows, and sporting activities, within a warm and friendly environment.
Built in 1922, the hall was erected on land that has an interesting timeline dating back to medieval times and listed as a forest settlement in the Domesday Book.
The Community Hall Facilities include:-
If you would be interested in attending one meeting a month (held on the first Tuesday and lasting for approximately 1 hour), to discuss the finances and management of the Hall, we would like to hear from you.
If you would like to know more or to have an informal chat, please contact our chairman; Robert Kendall on 01723 500699, by email at: [email protected] or by writing to us at: Newby and Scalby Community Hall, Scalby Road, Scalby, Scarborough, YO13 0RA
